Springy Things

The poor old sun tried to fight her way through the annoying stratus but to no avail. At least there is no rain, just this stubborn grey blanket.

Spotted the hybrid flicker at the feeder but eventually left having been bothered by the more bossy Red-shafted Flicker who obviously thinks that this is his territory.

Happier birds are the Pine Siskins who were delighted that I refilled their own personal feeder in a timely manner (ahem). What a noise they make and are unconcerned if you are standing three feet away. "Thanks lady. Who are you again?"

Planted the salad greens, peas and radish in a planter on the deck. Hopefully the seeds aren't too old. Should have tested for germination before planting them but oh well, I shall find out soon enough.
